“Mercedes-Benz of The Woodlands is facing a lawsuit after company officials fired a 19-year-old employee who was serving on a Harris County jury claiming he abandoned his job.

The lawsuit, filed Friday pro bono by Houston-area law firms Terry & Thweatt PC, Berg Plummer Johnson & Raval LLP, Pierce & O’Neill LLP and Nathan Somers Jacobs, is seeking salary compensation for Zachary White for violating Texas law that prohibits employers from terminating employees because of jury service.”
